TG Ice Box

I've had this cold plunge set up for 2-3 weeks, so I can't speak to longevity, but so far I'm really happy with the chiller/tub. The chiller is pretty heavy, just FYI (but it has wheels and folding handles), and the components appear really well made. The portable bath was easy to set up and didn't take a lot of time. I'm curious how often I'll need to pump it up to keep it at the right PSI. I'm 6'1" and I can easily submerge myself to the chin without any knees popping out or anything. The directions that came with the chiller are so-so. I wish it gave more info about cleaning/maintaining; I had to look that up online. I'm sure you could contact Tru Grit--they've been really responsive and helpful whenever I messaged them in the past. I ended up buying an ozone generator to help keep it clean because I don't want to use chemicals. I live in SW Florida, and that means it can be pretty hot outside. I don't have the bath in direct sunlight, but it definitely sweats a lot at the current 85 degrees FL weather. I don't know if it's the TUYA smart app or the chiller, but the temperature I set the chiller to on the tuya app never seems to be what temperature the water is at (often off by a few degrees, so no biggie for me). I usually just set the temperature a few degrees lower than what I'm hoping to get into. I turn the temperature up to around 60 during the day, and then when I go to bed I set it to 40ish so I can plunge in the morning. By doing so, the chiller part doesn't seem to run much during the day (just the water pump moving the water). Time will tell how much it costs to run each month, but I'm guessing much less than regularly buying ice. At some point I plan to buy a more insulated tub to help cut down on expense and condensation even more. I did a lot of research before buying this cold plunge. I realize you won't see the Tru Grit version in ads or affiliate marketing websites all over the web, but if you made it here, I think you've probably found one of or possibly THE best cold plunge deals around. The specs and apparent quality of the chiller are probably up with those $2-3K+ units (considering flow rate, temperature, WIFI, etc). Getting the combo that includes the tub for an extra $100 is a no-brainer in my opinion. I've seen some places charging $600-900+ for an inflatable tub! Assuming this thing lasts a while and doesn't have problems, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

I am thoroughly impressed with this chiller. I bought the combo kit with the inflatable tub. I had concerns at first but the tub has been nothing but wonderful. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a good ice bath setup.

This thing is awesome! Works very well and not only chills the water but helps keep it clean.
